LOGO
20.1.18
20.1.18
This is the logo I made for my deodorant product which I created on illustrator. Firstly I went on a website called cool text, selected a font and typed in Fever, the name of my logo. I then downloaded it and imported unto Illustrator. The Tiger head above the title was also taken from the internet. Once they were added to illustrator, I removed the colours from both text and the tiger head. I did this by clicking on the logo, selecting tracing results on viewing options and selecting black and white logo. Personally I think the black and white suits the logo very well, however It doesn't suit the logo name "Fever" as much.
Website
05/02/18

This is the website I made on Adobe Muse. To fit the name of my product, "Fever", I decided to make the colour of the website be blue and white. I also chose the slogan to be called "Smell Good. Smell Nice." This was made using the same skills from my practice page. This time I went on Photoshop, inserted an image of deodorant and used the clone stamp to remove the logo of the original. I then made a new layer and inserted my Logo. Afterwards I changed the color of the deodorant, by selecting image, adjustment and hue. I then used the magic wand tool to remove the white background before exporting it into a png. Afterwards I went on Muse and made boxes for the deodorant with the rectangle tool and made another box, with the colour being lime and used the text tool to added prices. I did the same for the others.
This is how my homepage looked like before the changes. As you see I made many differences and added much more. This includes the placement of the title and the colour of the background.
Interactive Design with Logo
18/01/2018
In this lesson, we made an interactive webpage on adobe animate.
Firstly I imported my Logo to the library. I then converted it into a symbol by selecting the logo, going to modify, convert to symbol, made it into a movie clip and pressed okay. Once it was made into a symbol and was named "logo", I added it unto the stage. I then inserted a keyframe 60 frames in. Afterwards, I created a classic tween where I made the logo rotated. The rotation was done through properties, tweening and making it x2. Once that was done, I made a new layer called questions and also added a keyframe 60 frames in. I then typed in "Would you use Fever" Converted it into a movie clip, and fade in by firstly making the alpha 0 then adding a keyframe at 90 and finally making the alpha at 100. This made the text fade in after the logo rotated. After creating the animation, I created the buttons. This was done by adding more symbols, making them buttons and calling them "yes" and "no". After adding codes in actions for the respective buttons, I added animation inside them so when you press "Yes" you get a star animation, done by making a star symbol and adding animations to them inside the symbol and a "BOO"
Posters
22/02/2018
This is the poster I made for my Product using Photoshop. I made the poster first by adding a grey gradient background. I then made a new layer and imported my Logo and another deodorant can with my Logo. Finally I added text with my slogan. After I made the poster I converted it into a JPEG and placed it on the billboard.
Radio Advert
26.02.18
In this Lesson I worked on finishing off my Radio Advert. After recording the narrative with an MP3. I combined it with the other sounds I got from the soundboard including a spray sound and a party ambiance sound. Once I put the sounds on the multi-track, I made the party ambiance sound lower then the narrative. When I began speaking about the product, I added the spray sound. I originally had the song "We are the champions" but I removed it as I believed the party ambience sound was enough and it made the songs appearance unnecessary. Due to the narrative being too short, I inserted gaps to help make it reach 30 seconds. Once the narrative ended, I made the party ambiance fade down. Doing that also helped make the ad longer. Once completing it I exported it into a wave file and put it into adobe premiere where I created it into a video file. This was so I could upload it to youtube then into my blog.
30 Second Advert
27/02/18
This is my 30 second advert. This was created using my phone camera and was edited in sony vegas. After filming the ad, I imported it to sony vegas. I then downloaded a song from youtube called "Local Forecast - Elevator" which was the background music in my ad. Due to having many clips, my ad exceeded the time frame which was supposed to be 30 seconds. Despite cutting some of the clips down, the lowest I could get it to was 35 seconds. In the end of my ad I added my poster. This was to not make the ad end abruptly and look more professional. This ad complete differed from the storyboard I created due to lack of time.
